Vision Builders

has been absolutely crucial in how God has taken a group of 15 people gathering in a living room and turned them into a church with impact throughout Los Angeles and beyond. Each year our Lead Pastors, Jake and Nicole Sweetman, cast the vision for the future and we go all in with our giving to see it happen. The way we do this is by each of us personally seeking God for how we can go over and above our tithe, give sacrificially, and accelerate the vision. If you’re ready to become a Vision Builder, use the giving buttons at the bottom of the page to set up your pledge today.

Vision Builders Throughout the Years

  • Did you ever imagine that your generosity could directly impact your brothers and sisters in Christ who face severe persecution and terrible trials? That’s what our vision builders have been able to achieve through their giving which has gone to churches in places such as Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan, providing everything from air conditioning units to desperately needed vacations for the pastors and their families. Our partnership with the persecuted church is one of our greatest honors and we look forward to generously supporting them further. We have also been able to provide entrepreneurial training and business funding for Christians in Uganda, helping to lift them out of poverty.

Locally, the generosity of our vision builders has put food on the tables of families, provided shoes for students along with hundreds of backpacks filled with school supplies. It has also made it possible for us to offer evangelistic programs like Alpha and Vacation Bible School, free of charge to parents, which teaches children about Christ and connects new families to our church. The spiritual and practical impacts on people’s lives has been so significant and we’re just getting started.

  • If not for the sacrificial generosity of our vision builders we would not have been able to purchase property in Los Angeles, renovate our spaces to make them a home, plant new locations in LA and across the country in Nashville, TN, and invest in the best equipment for our worship experiences, both for our Adults and C3LA Kids.

We are filled with faith for the taking of more territory in LA and Nashville and feel God has called us to go after physical properties that will be places from which the gospel can go forth and people can experience a truly transformed life. Now, more than ever, we feel called to pursue a regional reach and position ourselves to participate in the next great move of the Holy Spirit.

  • It is a privilege to capture the sound of worship that so beautifully flows from our church, and vision builders is what has made this possible. Over the last year we have been able to write and record live at our Holy Spirit Conference an EP that is set to release on March 17th. These songs have blessed not only our own church but 1000’s of Christians around the world. Particularly wonderful is the fact that our songs have been translated into the native languages of the persecuted churches we support for them to use for their own worship services.

How much should I give/pledge to Vision Builders?

This is a question that you must seek God to answer. Our encouragement to our whole church is to participate in some way. Vision Builders succeeds not because of equal giving but because of equal sacrifice. This year’s vision is the largest we have ever set forth and we are calling upon everyone who calls our church home to make room for the vision in their finances. The New Testament teaches us that faith is grown by obedience. As we confidently trust in God, His character and capability, and partner with Him to advance His Kingdom, we always experience breakthroughs. Vision Builders engages us practically with His mission and there are countless stories from people who have built the vision of His church of how God has not only done the impossible through their giving but also worked miracles in their own lives as a result of their faithfulness.
